Build more awareness of what your current blockers to delegating are, and arm yourself with proven tools and techniques for saving time and supporting the development of others.

Is there something on your to-do list that you suspect could be on someone else's? If you're feeling short of time and suspect you might be doing things better suited to others — it could be time to take stock of your delegation skills.

Collaboration, creativity and brilliant communication skills, sit at the heart of the act of delegating. And so the job of improving our ability to delegate forces us to build skills that we can flex in loads of different contexts.

A practical understanding of the art of delegation helps us to pass things sideways, take things off other people’s plates at the right moment and have a clearer picture of who is doing what and why. When successfully done, you'll purposefully lighten your load, free up focus for maximum value tasks — and all while empowering and enabling the development of others.

Learning to delegate purposefully and effectively is exactly what this punchy session is all about.

Content we'll collaboratively cover:

• The surprising benefits of delegation
• Our delegation blockers
• Assessing task suitability
• Delegation as a development driver
• Identifying the right level of delegation
• A fine formula for effective delegation

A YCN coach-facilitator will guide you through a series of ideas, exercises and small group discussions — encouraging you to apply all we cover to real challenges and opportunities.

Who the session's for:

Anyone keen to level-up their ability to delegate, whether or not you're formally managing someone. Our focus is on lightening loads, and creating development opportunities, in all directions.
